...but when my kids "borrowed" (ahem) my digital camera, much madness ensued. I'll spare you the gory pictures of close-ups on various belly buttons and gaping mouths, trying to photograph their tosnils maybe? plus the multitude of just plain odd & distored pictures of door jambs, carpets and who-knows-what-that-was-supposed-to-be shots.

Instead, here are some that cracked me up: Serena washing her hair in the sink (!!!), cookies (of course), her stuffed cat collection and NO! THEY ARE NOT REAL CATS but, boy, did the flash ever make them look scary. Oh yes. And Serena's "Blair Witch Project" contribution at the end too - I'm not sure how she made her face look like that! She's such a pretty girl, honestly :)

Those who were at my Open House event last weekend will have seen these up-close already, but I wanted to share with the rest of you how utterly EASY it is to custom colour your fibers, ribbons & twill using our reinkers!

Basically, combine a very small amount of water & between 5-10 drops of dye re-inkers (Classic ink) in a small cup. Tuck in your length of white ribbon, fiber or twill so it's completely covered and allow to sit for a while.

When the colour has been sufficiently absorbed, remove the ribbon from the dye mixture and let air-dry. Presto magic! You'll have custom coloured accessories to match your projects!



I had a great time experimenting with this and created 3 different twill colours, a bevy of Hannah fibers and organdy ribbons, but my favourite was the Tiffany ribbon. It has a thread of gold running through it, so I coloured it Real Red so it would be wonderful for Holiday or Valentine day cards!
