Stampin' Up! Cruise bragbook

Share |
I recently picked up my digital prints from last year's Stampin'Up! cruise to the Mexican Riviera...all 300+ of them! (want to see them? Click HERE)

Anyhoo, I had participated in the official 6x6 bragbook page swap while on the ship, where we swapped out 2 page spreads, all cruise related. This meant that we would (hypothetically) be able to come home, put our pages right in the cutie-patootie Natural album that SU left on our pillow one of the nights, and we'd be all set.

Welllllll.....

Now that I finally have the photos printed, the scrapping has begun in earnest. I filled the little album with cruise pics and will complete the journalling, and then get started on the monster 12x12 album next. I plan on keeping it based around the "Friends & Flowers" Hostess scrapping kit, rather than each page being readically different. This way I can do some "speed scrapping" and get'er'done before April rolls around.

Ooooooh, we're down to less than 3 months to go before we leave the frozen tundra (ha!) and fly away to warmer climes. I'm extra excited this year because 1) I'm taking the WHOLE family with me this time and 2) my stampin' buddy and downline Mari earned her first cruise last year and she's going too!! Oh yeah, of course 3) I get to see so many of my awesome Canadian & US stamping friends again. Many of the Canucks are staying at the same hotel in Ft Lauderdale the night before the cruise, so we'll get a bit of extra lovin' in :).

I didn't get to attend the Leadership Conference this past weekend and see everyone again (because I was doing the "Toronto Franchises & Biz Opportunities show" instead), so it'll be extra special to see them again in April. My goal is to have both my "Founder's Circle" & Mexican Riviera scrapbooks completed to be able to share them with everyone on the "Share" night. I was asleep in my cabin last year and missed it, although in my defense there was no one to babysit Serena and it was at 11pm or something. Ahem. Okay, so I was asleep and happy to be asleep. Those beds on Holland America ROCK!

Here's our itinerary:

So if any of you have recently been to Ft Lauderdale, Aruba or Cristobal-Colon, Panama... I'd LOVE to hear about it!!!

Tomorrow I'll share the actual completed layouts and tell you more about the 2008 cruise I've earned: BERMUDA!
