Serena's Sunday Stamping Fun!

Share |
In the Kobayashi-LeBel household, Sunday is family day, and dollars to donuts that means my 9 year old daughter will want to do some recreational stamping with good old mom. We leave the boys behind to play video games, and head to the studio.

But first things first... you need to load up on CHOCOLATE! I've explained to Serena all about the primal need for chocolate that many stampers crave, and she was more than happy to give in to that.

I pretty much give her free reign to do what she wants, how she wants, as long as it all gets cleaned up before we come home. She's been stamping since she was 4, and is an old pro at it :) Serena often "brags" that her most has the best job ever and has told me she wants to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator when she grows up too (insert collective "awwwww" here)

Sunday she wanted to make chocolate nugget holders for her friends and teacher, so she went straight to work.

We stamped together for 3 hours straight, listened to music, laughed our butts off and consumed far more chocolate than was good for either of us.

In all, a MOST EXCELLENT TIME!!

Next week she wants to start up on her swaps for the Kids Cruise swap she has joined, which I guess means I had better get cracking on mine too :)

Comments:
This is the quality time that she will always remember!

Your daughter is a doll! And an awesome stamper! :) Mother and daughter stamping the day away, enjoying one another's company... what a (GREAT) way to spend the day. :)

Too adorable!!

I love this post. My daughter, who is 5, loves it when the ladies leave "garbage" after a stamp class. She goes through the scraps of cardstock and creates her own projects. :)

What a nice idea! Spending that time with your daughter is something she will remember and cherish for the rest of her life. You are giving a part of yourself. Good for you!!!
