Day 2 of Holiday Countdown: "Snowman Soup"
You see, we've been blanketed with tons of snow and now there are freezing ice pellets coming down, and I just don't want to get dressed and run to the studio to find my camera. Sooooo.... that one will have to wait until Monday.

This is a small jar from our local dollar store that was filled with hot chocolate powder and mini marshmallows. I created a band to encircle it with crimped Real Red cardstock and little stamped snowmen.
Since this was a gift from my daughter Serena to her ballet teacher, she stamped/coloured in the tag and we affixed it plus a candy cane "stirrer" with some wide organdy ribbon in a pretty bow.
Inside the folded tag was a poem:
Was told you've been real good this year.
Always glad to hear it!
With freezing weather drawing near,
You'll need to warm the spirit.
So here's a little Snowman Soup
Complete with stirring stick.
Add hot water, sip it slow.
It's sure to do the trick!
This is a great project to do with little ones, so if you're stuck inside on a chilly wintery day, pull out those stamping supplies, raid the kitchen and get creative! There are some great Snowman Soup, Snowmen Poop, Magic Reindeer food, etc ideas out there on the 'net. Just google them and have some fun!
Happy Stampin',
Caroline
