October Club Project #2: "Season of Friendship" card + a background stamp tip!

The best tip I know for getting a fabulous impression with one of our large background stamps is two-fold:
1) Use a rubber brayer to ink up the background stamp. This applies a consistent amount of ink to the surface and avoids that "streaky" look that can happen when large stamps are inked up with a pad;
2) Keeping the stamp rubber-side up, carefully lay your cardstock over top of it. use a finger to hold it in place and run your brayer over the entire back of the cardstock. If you keep the paper from moving about, you'll get a perfect impression!
BTW, this set is called "Season of Friendship" from Stampin' Up!'s new Mini catalogue, and I'm just loving it to pieces! It's going to be my new all-season favourite and I plan on dedicating a whole class to it in January. Club members, full instructions are posted on the Club blog HERE.
Happy stamping, watch tomorrow for project #3 using dry-embossing.
