Thank you for all the food!

Share |
Thanks so much to everyone who came to my World Card Making Day event -- a fundraiser for the Daily Bread Food Bank as part of their Thanksgiving drive.

I now have bags and bags worth of great nutritious non-perishables to bring to my local fire hall this weekend, and it was great to see the tremendous response and everyone's generosity.

Those who stayed to stamp were able to make 2 cards... one using the "Crab & Company" set and another using "Season of Friendship" from the new Mini Catalogue.

Here's Karen with her gorgeous fall tree -- we used the baby-wipe technique to make custom ink-pad colours using Earth Elements re-inkers. It was a great way to stamp quickly-coloured yet unique leaves on our trees, and I loved how she covered the ground in leaves too! Truly an authentic Ontario autumn card :)

Once again, my heartfelt thanks for everyone's donations -- I look forward to making this an annual event!

Happy stamping,
Caroline

P.S. It was MICHELLE S. who won the doorprize this time. Thanks for playing, everyone!
