Another Stampers Showcase card!
One of the favourite things to do each morning (after checking my email, of course) is to log on the Stampin' Up! demonstrators website.
I get to sit at my computer, quietly sipping a cup of Earl Gray while the monsters are still asleep, and I always take a minute to browse the new cards that are posted in the Stampers Showcase. I'm always inspired by what other demonstrators are doing, and I often CASE my personal and even class cards from projects I see there.
Well, this morning was one of those "uh-oh-we-all-slept-in-late-so-lets-run-around-like-chickens" kind of mornings, so there was no quiet 'puter time for Mom. So I missed out on my morning ritual and never got a chance to log on again until just now, after my afternoon scrapbooking class was all done.Lo and behold, I was surprised to see I had another one of my cards published again -- WOOHOO!!
This very simple card was based on an effort earlier this year to create an Open House Make & Take for my customers that used ALL the new 2008/9 In Colors, so they'd get a chance to take home a sample of the entire colour palette. I made up a whack of them at the last minute for my friend Dina to swap on my behalf at Convention, and one more for the Stampin' Up! basket. I guess it was worth the extra effort!!
