Day 8: Emboss Resist and Markers!

Share |
Happy Humpday, everyone. The week is half-over, and it's just flying by, isn't it??

The first project I'm sharing is the emboss-resist technique, and one of the projects we're making at Stampers Club this month.

In this case, we stamped the tree from the Snow Swirled set in VersaMark ink on Glossy white cardstock, and then heat-embossed it with White embossing powder. We then used a sponge dauber to go over the entire surface, adding Kiwi Kiss ink which resisted the white embossed surface. Add a Filigree designer brad at the top and lots & lots of layers, and you have one more holiday card all done and ready to go!

Stampin' Up! Supplies:
Stamps:Snow Swirled Inks:VersaMark, Kiwi Kiss
Papers:textured Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, Ski Slope Designer Series Accessories: heat gun, Whisper White embossing powder, paper piercer, Filigree designer brads

Now on to the Many Marvelous Markers section of today's post!

Our Stampin' Write Markers are pretty awesome, if you ask my humble opinion. With 48 colours to choose from, I use them for colouring, watercoloring, direct-to-rubber stamping with the brush edge, free-form doodling, with the color spritzer... so many great ways to play!

The best value is definitely in getting our Many Marvelous Markers; you'll save a lot of money over buying them individually plus you get the storage case free. But if you don't want to spend the $158.95 for getting them all at once, you should join my Marvelous Markers Club!

Each month you'll get 12 markers (an entire colour family) and then by the 4th month you'll have all 48 markers AND the case as well. As an added bonus, receive the NEUTRALS marker package(value $13.95) on your 4th month as a special thank you from me!

Cost is only $39.95 (+S&H & taxes) per month -- please contact me to reserve your spot.
