Why do I keep singing "Baby, it's cold outside" even though Christmas is long gone? Gee, I don't know. Maybe because it was -30C with the windchill last night coming home???? If you are somewhere warm right now, I do NOT want to hear about it (stomping my feet and pouting).
If you are a Stampers Club member who prefers to be surprised when she comes to play, STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER SCREEN NOW!
Okay, now that you've been warned, here are the 3 projects that we are doing this month: all of which feature the Real Red/So Saffron/Jackpot Designer Series paper colour scheme. The stamp set used is the "Love You Much" set from page 27, and the accessories are from the Pretties kit.
The first of these is a "Stair Step" card, perfect to use for a love or Valentine's day gift. It actually all folds up nicely to fit in a standard envelope, so you don't have to worry about that!
The next 2 projects are a mini pizza box (4"x4") with a matching mini card, about 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Pizza boxes are TONS of fun to make and ridiculously easy, once you understand the basic scoring guidelines. The difference between them and other types of boxes is that the lid is still attached, like an actual pizza boxes would be.
If you would like to see a great tutorial on making one of these boxes, please visit this thread on Splitcoaststampers to find the .pdf file. Club members, please note that I have already uploaded all 3 sets of instructions to the Club Member Blog for easy access.
