London Regionals - Demonstrator Presenters
When Stampin' Up! tours around North America hosting their Regionals events, they look to local demonstators who are attending to help them with business presentations and WOW techniques. It's always a thrill when you get the call asking to help, and this time was no different! Linda Hansen phoned me the week before and well, you just can't turn down THAT sweetheart :) so of course I said yes. Did you know that Linda was the first trainer hired at SU's corporate office? I think she just rocks.
Anyhoo, I was asked to do a quickie 5-minute presentation about my "Best Business Practices", so I chose to speak about the benefits of applying consistency to add aspects of your business.
Was I particularily coherent? I'm not sure -- I was on pretty strong cold medication so I certainly apologize to the 600 attendees if I made no sense...LOL! Mostly I was just grateful that I still had a bit of a voice and that I didn't fall off the stage.
Maureen McGrail had everyone howling when she opened up a small box to show her "stimulus package" and brought out a pretty pink bra! She gave a great talk as well, talking about the different types of "support" you receive as a demonstrator.
Heather Summer did a really cute presentation using punches to create barn animals.. check out the cute pig!
Corinne Somerville showed beautiful wedding ideas, concentrating on my favourite set "Fifth Avenue Floral". On the example below, she used a sanding block to help get additional detail on the Manhattan Flower texture die.
Alli showed the neatest "pop-up" cards that had stamped elements dangling on acetate strips. DEFINITELY something to show my peeps at a class!
One of my bestest Stampin' Up! friends, Alicia Ryckman presented a gorgeous envelope album. I'm SO doing one of these with my club people in July!!!
Okay, that's it for today. Tomorrow I'll focus on the projects that the SU presenters showed us... and there's LOTS of great ideas to see!
Happy stamping,
