Brayer Class - cards #1 & 2
This upcoming Wednesday will be my Brayer class, where we'll make cards using different techniques and ways to use a brayer.
Card #1 uses my favourite Lovely As a Tree set and a VersaMark-resist masking technique.
To create the "sun", I punched out a circle shape from a Post-it note using the 1 3/4" circle punch, and lay it on the glossy cardstock, sponging in the circle with VersaMark ink. When you brayer over the whole piece with More Mustard ink, the circle area resists the majority of the ink and leaves it paler.
Card #2 lets us use the brayer to ink up the Boho Blooms background stamp with 2 different inks, and on a diagonal for some extra fun. (Lovin' the new Bermuda Bay & Melon Mambo colours!)
Tomorrow I'll share with you card #3 which uses a classic Emboss resist technique and then after I'll have a video to explain mystery technique #4! Stay tuned :)
Happy stamping,
Kristen
