Here are 3 of the cards we'll be making as part of the Xmas in August classes this week. If you are interested in attending, I now have 2 spots for Wednesday night and 3 spots for Thursday afternoon's 1pm class -- the other classes are completely full. Be sure to RSVP if you'd like to come on by.
This first card uses my old holiday standby, "Lovely As a Tree", but this time I've paired it with a really cool shimmery paint background. The shimmer paint is one of those products that unfortunately does NOT photograph well, but don't worry - you'll be able to play with it yourself when the new Holiday Mini Catalogue is released to the public on Sept 1! (For now, it's just us demos who get to order all those goodies for ourselves!)
On to card #2, using "A Cardinal Christmas". I paired the Garden Green with Real Red, and used my VersaMarker for a subtle shadow effect around the bird. Here's one of those super-quick cards you can whip up extra fast, thanks to the Top Note die & the Big Shot machine.
Still playing with the Real Red in card #3, I used the pinecone image from the "Autumn Days" set, did some sponging with Whisper White Craft ink and threw on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter -- voila! The Scallop Edge punch, polka-dot ribbon and white gel pen did the rest!
