Come play at Stampers Club this month!
Here are the 3 projects we'll be making Wednesday, Thursday and Friday -- why don't you join us too?
You do NOT need to be a Stampers Club member (although that's the most fun)... simply order $25 of products that night and you can make the projects for free! RSVP if you'd like to pop by...
For the month of August, I'm still concentrating on playing with the new 2009/10 "In Colors" as well as new stamp sets.
This card uses the "On the Pedastal" set, the "In Color" markers (love them!), and the 1/2 pieces of the scallop oval punch with blue circle Rhinestone brads as accents to the side of the card.
If you click on the card to enlarge, you'll see the background was made of one of the stamps from that set, stamped repeatedly across the Crushed Curry cardbase.
Okay, I know that "Cheers to You" is not a new set, but I just HAD to bust out the frou-frou drink stamp to celebrate the good weather we're finally experiencing. If you want to see how I achieved the speckled background on the Dusty Durango cardbase, click on the image and you'll see it was using the new "Texture" Jumbo wheel -- love it!
For project #3 I broke out the new "Medallion" background stamp I had been jonesing for ever since I saw the new catty. Oh... I love it! And you can dress it up or down as easily as you like :) This one uses Soft Suede paired with Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie. To do the "jewel" in the centre, I simply pulled the prongs off of one of our Fire Rhinestone brads and stuck it in place using a mini brad.
Happy stamping,
