Spreading the word about Stamping!
I had the great delight of entertaining Ian Robertson of the TorontoSun.com at the studio today.
He's working on an article about rubber-stamping & our upcoming February Stampin' Palooza event, that should appear in print and online on December 26 for their Boxing Day edition.
Normally I can be quite shy (don't laugh!) but this lovely gentleman worked with me to do a video interview complete with B roll footage, as well as taking pictures of many of the projects we have showing around the space. I admit to being quite excited to see this article come out on Boxing Day - be sure to check it out!In other media news, details about my visit with Katie Dupuis from Chatelaine.com were posted to her "She's Crafty" blog.
Katie's is not only a Production Editor at Chatelaine, but she's also a faboo craftin' chick and a total kindred spirit: I could have spent hours chatting with her about paper arts and the cool ideas she has for her upcoming New Years wedding.
I'd brought along a couple of cool holiday banners I made using the glitter-encrusted "Ho Ho Ho" Chipboard to share, which I gave to her for her mom's house. I also shared some Big Shot die-cut ornaments and brought neat holiday card samples, just to show some of the myriad of things you can do with stamps.
And then she made her very own hand-stamped holiday card! Yes, that one above using the Winter Post stamp set.. we went through it step-by-step and her's looked like she'd been doing it for years: totally awesome!
Definitely bookmark her crafting blog to visit on a regular basis; you'll be glad you did.
Happy stamping,
