"Canadians, INK!" Team Gathering project
Last night, there were 17 of us at the studio for our monthly Canadians, INK! Team Gathering -- oh my gosh, did I ever have fun!
I had 4 M&T's set up for them to make, all of which used new product and goodies from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalogue. Here's one of the cards that we made last night featuring our ever popular 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon as an accent.
The colour combo I chose was one that combined the new Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake with Chocolate Chip, a favourite old stand-by colour. This set uses the gorgeous new French Foliage set with a sentiment from Grateful Greetings, one of my faves for different occasions.
If you live in Canada and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like your own copy of the Holiday Mini mailed out to you, drop me a line with your mailing address and I'll be happy to send you out one!
For those of you who prefer reading it online, I'll be able to post it online for you beginning September 1, although I want to warn you now... It's filled with so many wonderful new goodies, your pocketbook might regret looking at it!I'll leave you with a goofy picture of me wearing Dina's fabulous "Share What You Love" poncho that she made, brought & wore at this year's Convention "Flower Power" party. What a riot that was!
Thanks again to everyone who came to play and share, to my invaluable Christyne for helping set up (& keeping the humour/snark levels lively) and of course to my 3 fabulous presenters Dina, Genevieve and Maria, who sure embodied Stampin' Up!'s "Share What You Love" philosophy with all of us.
I hope everyone had a good time and I look forward to seeing you all again (and maybe some more folks?) at the next gathering on Saturday September 11, just before I leave for my Founders Circle trip.
In the meantime, I look forward to sharing more details and pictures from our gathering in tomorrow's post, so be sure to come back to check it out!
