It must be Freebie Friday!

Share |

Well, it's a gorgeous Friday here in Toronto and it's also the last day of March Break here (not counting the weekend of course) . So Mommy decided to play hooky and have a day with the kids!

I guess that's one of my favourite perks of being a Stampin' Up! demo -- as my own boss, I set the hours I want to work. And with a day as glorious as this, I'm just going to HAVE to take the monsters out for some sushi and a movie in the Beaches :)

So in the spirit of sharing my happiness, why not hold another little Freebie Friday contest for my faithful blog readers?

Today's prize will be an Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon And Button Pack, one the exclusive Sale-A-Bration gifts this year.

To enter in this draw, simply leave me a message in the Comments area below sharing a favourite sunny day activity or memory.

You have until midnight Sunday March 20 to enter and then I'll draw the random winner and post their name here on Monday. So be sure to leave your comment, name and email so that I can get back to you if you are the winner.

My favorite summer activity is going on an evening walk with my husband on the flats near my house
I am trying to get some work done so that I can go out and start clearing the gardens, I love being out side gardening and cleaning while the kids are riding their bikes and playing... Sunshine and kids laughing, what could be better!!
Have a great day off!
One of my favourite sunny day activities is walking with the husband through High Park, enjoying the breeze and the trees, going to the pond to see if I can find any turtles. And we always get lost trying to find the petting zoo! And ending the afternoon with an actual ice cream cone!

Enjoy your sushi and movie!! It sounds so wonderful as I'm stuck here at work wishing the day away.
Taking the kids to the Toronto Zoo is my all time sunny day activity!
Hope that you enjoy your fun day with your kids. I love sunny days spending them outside gardening.
Well I enjoyed a beautiful day in Myrtle beach with my family, sand, surf, sun. A great day.
One of my favourite sunny day activities involves being where I am right now - in Myrtle Beach - walking the beach with the sun and ocean breeze looking for shells.
Well, it's not warm enough yet, but there's nothing like sitting poolside on a sunny summer day!
Last summer we went cliff diving and it was amazing watching my 11 and 15 yr olds fling themselves off the rocks into the water. It was a great day with my family and friends.
looking forward to spring so I can start to work in my garden!!! laura j
Well, we sure do the love the beach on sunny days (and on warm, summer evenings too). Hope you had a great time!
I love to eat outside in the warmer weather. The food always tastes better and we are able to enjoy each others company without the interference of TV, laptops etc.
My favourite fun day is spending time in the garden and sitting on the patio and enjoying the handiwork. thanks for this opportunity to win
we also had beautiful weather yesterday for the 1st time in a very long dreary time. Opened all the windows to air out the house. It smells so good. Then picked up many broken branches and limbs and had a wonderful fire in our fire ring, ans saw the most beautifuk moon. So good to just do stuff we haven't done all winter.
thanks for the chance to win great stuff.
As a fulltime working mom, I was blessed to have summers off. I loved taking my 4 little boys to the local lake to play in the water and read craft magazines in the sun on the beach. Mmmm . . . loved those days! They're all grown up now, and I work year around, so I treasure those memories.
I would have to say being on the water at my cottage. Nothing beats looking up at the warm sun, fluffy clouds and the hills of the valley.
Picnic and frisbie in the park are my favorite sunny day activities.
What a great way to spend the day! Hope you had fun!

My favorite thing to do in the summer is head out to the cottage, take the boat out on the lake and go tubing! Or just lie out on the boat and read a book.
I absolutely love the sunny days, even if they're a little chilly, when I can take Charlotte for a nice long walk in her stroller along the boradwalk in Ajax while enjoying a cup of Tim Horton's coffee.
Friday was a beautiful day for taking my grand daughters to play in the park on the swings and teeter totter. Jeannie
days like Friday make me hopeful that warm summer days are not too far away! I love the self directed pace summer seems to bring with it.
I love to pack a lunch, grab my camera, and go on a hike through one of the nearby conservation areas, taking photos along the way and stopping by stream to eat lunch. If I'm feeling lazy, then I love to just lie by the pool and sip a cold drink and get a nice tan. :-) If it's not too windy and I'm feeling productive, I'll bring a few scrapbooking supplies outside to the patio table and make a few pages or cards, or weed the garden and enjoy the nice weather.
